ClearSlide Announces AA-ISP Webinar For Sales Leaders Looking To Leverage Data For Forecast Accuracy
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – November 14, 2015
ClearSlide, the leading platform for sales, marketing and customer success, will hold an AA-ISP webinar titled “Make the CFO Your New BFF” on December 2nd, 2015 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm EST/EDT. ClearSlide’s VP of Marketing & Business Development Michael Shultz and VP of Product Raj Gossain will lead the session, which will teach sales leaders how to reduce forecast inaccuracy and leverage data to coach their teams to success.
The late baseball legend Yogi Berra once said, “It’s tough to make predictions, especially about the future.” And yet, sales leaders are expected to make performance predictions every quarter, even though research shows that 50 percent of all forecasted deals slip. Because of this lack of precision, CFOs are forced to adjust forecasts based on gut instinct and past results. This makes it difficult to have confidence in revenue forecasts or to give earnings guidance. New predictive forecasting tools can be transformative for sales leaders, but the key is looking at actual customer engagement.
In this compelling session, Schultz and Gossain will discuss how Predictive Insights can be leveraged to gain better confidence in your pipeline, identify deals at risk or ones that can be moved forward, and have the engagement data to coach more effectively – making the CFO your new best friend.
Schultz leads Marketing and Business Development for ClearSlide. Prior to ClearSlide, he served as VP of Strategic Alliances at DocuSign, where he built out and managed the company’s key partnerships and programs over three years of rapid growth. Schultz spent nearly eight years with Microsoft Corporation in various SaaS product management and marketing roles following the acquisition of PlaceWare web conferencing. He has also held senior positions with other venture-backed and publicly traded companies, and previously worked as a strategy consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Schultz earned an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a BA in English from Tufts University.
Gossain drives Product and User Experience strategy and execution at ClearSlide. Prior to joining ClearSlide, he was VP & GM for new cloud & mobile collaboration apps at Cisco Systems where he ran the Project Squared team. Prior to that he was VP Products for Cisco WebEx. He has an 18 year career in general management, product management and product marketing for global technology companies including Cisco WebEx, Yahoo!, Netscape & AOL. Gossain earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Together, these marketing and sales experts will arm sales leaders with the information and tools they need to set and meet realistic goals, leading to greater sales effectiveness and efficiency overall.
