During my 3.5 years at ClearSlide as both an account executive and now sales manager I’ve prided myself on pushing myself to do better each year. I’m always looking for quantifiable data and true insights to help me be more relevant to prospects (and to help me get a leg up on the competition). That’s why my sales resolution for 2016 is to use customer engagement data to sell smarter. I know that buyers are more educated and further down the buying process than ever before – so why waste time trying to talk to them about what they already know? ClearSlide lets me interact with insights. When I send presentations, where are they spending the most time? What slides and topics seem to be the most interesting to prospect? Are they forwarding material along – are there more decision makers behind the scenes? By taking the time to look at customer engagement data, I can be smarter and more strategic in my selling. I can tailor my conversations and engage prospects with information they care about, allowing me to have stronger meetings. I know I can be more relevant by looking at data. 2016 is the year I’ll use customer engagement data to sell smarter and close more deals.
