ClearSlide Featured on Selling Power’s “50 Best Companies To Sell For” List
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – August 20, 2015
ClearSlide, the leading sales engagement platform, is pleased to announce that it has ranked on the Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For list. Each year, the corporate research team at Selling Power magazine assembles and publishes its list of the 50 Best Companies to Sell For. This is the 15th consecutive year the list has appeared in the magazine.
Companies are evaluated in the following areas: Customer Growth and Retention, Hiring, Compensation, Sales Training, and Enablement; and Company Recognition and Reputation. The list includes companies of all sizes, with sales forces ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to companies with sales‐force numbers in the thousands.
Selling Power magazine founder and publisher Gerhard Gschwandtner says the companies on the list support excellence in sales in the following ways.
1. They support salespeople. Salespeople are an expensive and vital asset for any company; as such, they must be trained and coached in order to develop their talents and prioritize their selling activities. Top companies also invest in sales‐enablement technology solutions that help salespeople operate more effectively and productively.
2. They keep salespeople motivated. To attract top salespeople, companies must have a straightforward and streamlined approach to compensation. Companies that truly excel also come up with inventive and creative incentives to keep salespeople positive and inspired.
3. They create an active selling culture. To salespeople, time is an asset. Every minute they spend in front of customers is an opportunity to close a deal and further the success of the individual and the group. Great sales organizations don’t burden salespeople with too many administrative activities or leave them to find their own leads without support from marketing.
“We are proud to recognize ClearSlide as one of America’s best companies to sell for,” said Gschwandtner. “Our research team carefully analyzes how sales organizations hire, train, coach, develop, motivate, assist and retain sales talent. This year, ClearSlide moved up to # 3 in a very crowded and highly competitive field.”
“ClearSlide has a unique sales culture because we sell to innovative Sales and Marketing Leaders,” said Dustin Grosse, COO of ClearSlide. “Our team gets to show their colleagues every day how ClearSlide can help more successfully engage customers and accelerate real results, based on deep personal experience and a track record of success.”
ClearSlide hires sellers with a history of success and demonstrated leadership, and who are passionate about how technology is changing sales and marketing. New sales team hires go through initial skills and product training when they join ClearSlide, and the company holds regular trainings on a monthly, and often weekly basis. Employees are consistently given opportunities to learn and grow, and are rewarded for performance.
“We work hard to cultivate an overall company culture that allows every member of our sales team – at every level – to be productive, effective, and impactful as they achieve success and develop in their careers,” said Grosse. “We are honored to have our team recognized by Selling Power and to be included on this impressive list.”
